We usually get together with my family members (all my siblings and parents live within 30 minutes of each other - what a blessing) once a month. Our activity for this month got rained out. We were planning on going to the park to play at the water playground there and eat breakfast. It was cloudy and sprinkling this morning, so we had to change the plans to meeting at my house. We ate breakfast and let the cousins run around. Lindsey made a treasure hunt for the cousins to do. There was candy at the end that Grandpa had bought. The adults played two games of Blurt - guys against the girls. We all followed the rules (sometimes difficult to do). The guys won both games!

What a big birthday party for all of you. It's sounds like a great family event. The treaure hunt sounds like a great thing for the kids to do. I bet Lindsey did a great job with and enjoyed as well. It looks like she had an awesome birthday. That's what birthdays are for. I still need to celebrate Dani's birthday, it was in March. March was way to crazy, and April and May just whizzed on by. Birthdays are fun at any age.
That must be so nice to be so near to family. I really wish that were the case with at least one of our families. Looks like you guys had a ton of fun. We'll have to try this Blurt game out sometime. We love games in both of our families and I've never heard of that one before. I hope you and Lindsey had wonderful birthdays!
