A few mornings during the past week, I've gone in to wake up Lindsey. I've found Lindsey already awake and reading in her bed. She's turned in to quite the little reader. She will check out 3 books a week from school and ask me to check out more from the city library. She's working on reading 4 books to participate in "Battle of the Books," a trivia competition between teams at school. I'm excited for how she's growing into an avid reader.
Kaylen will also wake up (usually a little too early). She'll head downstairs where Eric is, working out and where the toys are. On Thursday morning I found her playing all by herself. She had fixed dinner for herself and her
cousin Abbie. She invited me to join in. I love children's imaginations.
