Spencer's birthday celebration was stretched out into 3 days this year. On his birthday, we flew home from Ohio. So the night before, we had a party with the family, with pizza and cake.
Flying home, we talked to the flight attendants and told them it was Spencer's birthday, so they made a special birthday announcement and presented him with a handmade peanut and mini-sword crown. Along with that crown, came the privilege of (supposedly) getting what he wanted while wearing the crown. We got home to find a beautiful sign, made by some of the cousins, along with some family at our house. Spencer quickly joined them in the pool. After swimming, we went to Red Robin, then came home and opened presents. Spencer got to join Eric at Eric's football games that night.
The third day celebration will be blogged about in the future. We're planning a party, but Spencer wants to wait until school starts, so he can invite some newly-made friends from school.
